About Our Studio

VIEW our
schedule as a

Dance Dynamics is dedicated to teaching students proper technique and development while experimenting with the creative aspects of dance.  Students surrounded by a fun and encouraging atmosphere enjoy dancing as well as learning.

Our goal at Dance Dynamics is to provide quality dance instruction to all of our students, whether their purpose in dance is to continue on to a professional career or just for exercise and fun.

We have a dance curriculum that is unique to Dance Dynamics.  The staff have developed a system for all levels of each style of dance.  Our staff uses these lesson plans consistently throughout each age group so that each class of students learns the same curriculum.
At all times, the instructors are focusing on the individual student's needs as well as developing high self-esteem.  We want our students to be happy and proud of their accomplishments.

  7. Ms. Jeanette, Instructor
After 28 years as a Labor and Delivery RN, and Clinical Development Instructor, I retired in March 2016. As a dancer, I'm a late bloomer! Although I longed for dance classes as a young girl, my parents offered violin lessons instead. In retrospect, I'm grateful for those lessons because they fostered a lifetime appreciation of music of all genres. What better expression of music than dance!!! I was a long time "gym rat" as an adult and to shake things up, I decided I needed to learn to figure skate. To help with grace and movement, I started taking ballet classes. The class before mine was tap and I decided I "had to" try that too. I fell in LOVE! After a few years, I was asked to teach both ballet and tap at my studio in New York. When I moved to NC, I taught several neighborhood children both ballet and tap until they outgrew my small home studio. This is my fourth year teaching with the Dance Dynamics family, and I continue to learn as well, taking tap classes with Ms. Traci. I also auditioned for and was accepted into a senior ladies dance troupe called Razzmatazz. Our troupe won the county games and went on to win gold at the state level. I've also formed a small senior ladies tap troupe, and lead "Generations Tap," a troupe of DD adult tappers of all ages. I'm grateful for the opportunity to teach, and so excited to share my love of dance here at Dance Dynamics!
  8. Ms. Savannah, Instructor
"Savannah Phipps is currently a Junior at NC State University, studying Elementary Education. She is very excited to begin teaching at Dance Dynamics and getting to share her love of dance and Musical Theatre with anyone who will let her! As the oldest of seven siblings Savannah enjoys spending time with her big family to which she looks for inspiration. She loves to read, and encourages you to tell her about any book you’re reading because she’s always looking for new ones!”
  9. Ms. Katie, Instructor & MIM Director
Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Meredith College in 2010 with Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Dance Education. She also received a K-12 license in Dance. While at Meredith College, Katie was President of Meredith Dance Theatre, a modern dance performance company, and was a member of the Meredith Tap Ensemble. Katie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013 with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Katie also holds graduate certificates in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University and Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Katie began dancing at Dance Dynamics in 1996 and was a member of the DDC Company. She joined the teaching staff of Dance Dynamics in 2007. Miss Susie's passion for both kids and dance really shines through in her teaching. her favorite moments are watching the excitement on a child's face when a difficult trick or combo is mastered. Miss Susie studied under the direction of Miss Debbie and first started teaching at the studio as an assistant, working her way up to teacher!
  11. Ms. Tori, Instructor
Tori began dancing at Dance Dynamics in 2003 where she was a member of the DDC company and a "Big Sister" for Miracles in Motion.
